Going for Hemorrhoids Treatment
Wednesday, November 16th, 2011A number of measures can be taken for hemorrhoids treatment these days such as tablets, creams, ointments, suppositories, wipes and gels. Yet there are certain home remedies as well that help to prevent the hemorrhoids getting worse such as wiping anal area after bowel excretion by means of water or some cleansing agent. Rubbing that part should be avoided and non prescription pain killers can be used for the relieving the pain such as Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Naproxen and other NSAIDs to reduce pain and inflammation.
Quite a few times icing for ten minutes could help giving relief after which a warm water bottle should be used for next 10- 20 minutes. Another way is to take Sitz bath, where you need to sit in a warm water tub having sufficient water to cover the anal part. This is particularly helpful after rectal emptying. This can be done several times a day for at least fifteen minutes for treatment of hemorrhoids.
